Ownership & attestation

Ownership only means something if the owner keeps standing behind the data. Attestations here run on a schedule, and status is derived from what actually happened: an owner who signs shows as current, and one who misses the date shows as lapsed. No one can mark it green by hand.

What you get01 / 03
01

Attestation cycles run on a schedule per CDE, set by tier, so your most material elements can run on a tighter cadence than the rest.

02

Attestation status is derived from the record as current, due, or lapsed, with no manual override anywhere in the platform.

03

A lapsed attestation stays visibly lapsed and pulls down the element's trust standing until the owner acts.

04

Each attestation captures what the owner saw when they signed, including lineage, quality standing, and open issues, and it is sealed on the ledger with the signature.

05

Ownership transfers go through the decision door, so an element never quietly loses its owner in a reorganization.

06

A live coverage view keeps the CDO and the second line current, with lapses sorted to the top.

How it works02 / 03
1

Schedule

Each CDE carries an attestation cadence set by its tier.

2

Present

The owner is shown the current evidence for the element before signing, so the attestation covers something concrete.

3

Sign

The attestation is sealed on the hash-chained ledger together with the evidence it covered.

4

Derive

Status is computed from the record, and a missed date turns to lapsed on its own.

Questions it answers03 / 03

“Who stands behind this number, and when did they last say so?”

Every CDE carries a named owner who attests on a scheduled cadence, and each attestation is sealed on the ledger with the evidence the owner saw when signing. The record shows exactly who signed and when.

“Which attestations are lapsed right now?”

The live coverage view for the CDO and the second line shows attestation status across every CDE, with lapses sorted to the top. Status is derived from the record, so what you see is what actually happened.

“What stops someone from marking an overdue attestation complete?”

Status is computed from the record, with no manual override anywhere in the platform. A missed date turns to lapsed on its own, stays visibly lapsed, and pulls down the element's trust standing until the owner acts.

The next step

Start with proof, not a promise.

There are three ways in, and each one earns the next. You approve the exit criteria before we spend any more of your time or budget.

01

A 60-minute working session

Bring one report that is expensive to prove. We walk the mechanism against it. Nothing is required from your side.

02

A two-week guided sandbox

Your team works hands-on against a synthetic sample bank. It requires zero access to your systems and zero procurement.

03

A six-week proof on your systems

We use read-only metadata across five systems and one priority report, scored against criteria both sides sign first. The decision it produces is yours.
