About OntaVera

Built by people who sat on your side of the table.

OntaVera comes from years inside bank data governance programs: the exam preparation, the attestation cycles, the evidence requests that swallow whole quarters. We are building the platform we always needed on those days.

What we believe

Four beliefs, built into the product.

01

Proof should be a byproduct

If a platform runs your governance, the exam file should fall out of daily operation. Rebuilding proof by hand for every request is the clearest sign the tooling has failed the people doing the work.

02

A badge you can set is an opinion

We built certification with no manual override because we watched trusted labels drift from reality. A state you can only derive is a fact, and facts hold up in front of examiners.

03

Honesty is a feature

Uncovered shows as uncovered. Failing shows as failing. A platform that flatters its owner fails them at the worst possible moment, which is always the exam.

04

AI belongs on a leash it cannot slip

We want agents doing the tedious work. We also built the platform so an agent structurally cannot approve, certify, or touch its own run record. Both things are true at once.

We are an early, focused team, and we would rather meet you in a working session than on a biography page. Bring one report that is expensive to prove, and judge us on how we handle it.

The next step

Start with proof, not a promise.

There are three ways in, and each one earns the next. You approve the exit criteria before we spend any more of your time or budget.

01

A 60-minute working session

Bring one report that is expensive to prove. We walk the mechanism against it. Nothing is required from your side.

02

A two-week guided sandbox

Your team works hands-on against a synthetic sample bank. It requires zero access to your systems and zero procurement.

03

A six-week proof on your systems

We use read-only metadata across five systems and one priority report, scored against criteria both sides sign first. The decision it produces is yours.
