Usage reporting
Telemetry shows you the demand side: who uses each product, how much, and where the data lands. That turns two hard questions into lookups: what breaks if this feed changes, and which access nobody actually uses. It also gives producers something they rarely get, which is proof that their work is consumed.
Consumption is tracked per product and per consumer, across teams, applications, models, and reports, with each event tied back to the grant that authorized it.
Downstream landing points join to lineage on the knowledge graph, so impact analysis before a change starts from a complete map of where the data goes.
Entitlements with no consumption surface at recertification, and products with no consumers surface as decommission candidates.
Usage evidence attaches to regulatory reporting, so you can show a filing drew on certified products.
Unusual consumption, such as a new consumer or a sudden volume shift, flags to the owner for review. The platform proposes, and a human decides.
All of it is metadata: who touched which product and when, never the data itself.
Capture
Consumption events arrive from product APIs and from the connectors already federating your metadata.
Attribute
Each event resolves to a product, a consumer, and the grant behind the access.
Map
Usage joins to lineage, so you see where a product's data lands downstream.
Review
Owners see demand for their products, and stale access comes up for a human decision.
“What breaks if we change or retire this feed?”
Usage joins to lineage on the knowledge graph, so you see every downstream landing point before you make the change. Impact analysis starts from a complete map of consumers and where the data lands.
“Which entitlements went unused since the last access review?”
Entitlements with no consumption surface automatically at recertification, so unused access comes up for a human decision rather than staying in place by default.
“Can you prove this report consumed a certified product?”
Yes. Usage evidence attaches to regulatory reporting, so you can show a filing drew on certified products, with each consumption event tied back to the grant that authorized it.
Start with proof, not a promise.
There are three ways in, and each one earns the next. You approve the exit criteria before we spend any more of your time or budget.
A 60-minute working session
Bring one report that is expensive to prove. We walk the mechanism against it. Nothing is required from your side.
A two-week guided sandbox
Your team works hands-on against a synthetic sample bank. It requires zero access to your systems and zero procurement.
A six-week proof on your systems
We use read-only metadata across five systems and one priority report, scored against criteria both sides sign first. The decision it produces is yours.
