Certification & ownership
Every asset carries a named owner, and certification is computed from evidence: profiling freshness, quality results, lineage coverage, and attestation currency. Nobody can hand-set the badge, and nobody needs to remember to take it away, because when the evidence lapses the status drops on its own. That is what makes 'certified' mean the same thing on every desk and in every exam.
Every asset carries a named owner and steward, and unowned assets surface as failures rather than blanks.
You define certification tiers by evidence bar, specifying what has to be true and how fresh, and status is computed from that bar and nothing else.
There is no manual override, so a certification cannot be granted as a favor or linger after its evidence has gone stale.
Attestation cycles run with maker-checker controls: owners attest, second line reviews, and every step is sealed on the hash-chained ledger.
Evidence packs come on demand: for any asset, you can show when it was certified, on what evidence, and who attested.
Statuses imported from a previous catalog land as claims and are checked against actual evidence before they count.
Assign
Every asset gets an owner, and gaps show as failures until someone accepts the role through the decision door.
Set the bar
You define the evidence required for each certification tier.
Compute
The platform derives status from live evidence and moves it when the evidence moves.
Attest
Owners attest on cycle, second line reviews, and each decision is sealed on the ledger.
“Who owns this data, right now?”
Every asset carries a named owner and steward, accepted through the decision door, so the answer is on the asset itself. If an asset has no owner, that shows up as a failure rather than a blank.
“Why is this asset certified, and can you show me the evidence behind the badge?”
Certification is computed from live evidence: profiling freshness, quality results, lineage coverage, and attestation currency. An evidence pack for any asset shows when it was certified, on what evidence, and who attested.
“Can anyone override a certification by hand?”
No. There is no manual override, so a badge cannot be granted as a favor, and when the evidence lapses the status drops on its own.
Start with proof, not a promise.
There are three ways in, and each one earns the next. You approve the exit criteria before we spend any more of your time or budget.
A 60-minute working session
Bring one report that is expensive to prove. We walk the mechanism against it. Nothing is required from your side.
A two-week guided sandbox
Your team works hands-on against a synthetic sample bank. It requires zero access to your systems and zero procurement.
A six-week proof on your systems
We use read-only metadata across five systems and one priority report, scored against criteria both sides sign first. The decision it produces is yours.
